The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu, yesterday warned members of the party not to engage in trivialities, ethnicity, religiosity and regionalism.
The chairman gave the charge in Abuja when Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna state led a delegation of the party stakeholders in the state to pay him and members of the party’s National Working Committee a courtesy visit in Abuja.
“You must engage in discussing topical issues and issues that matter to the people and affect the lives of the common man,” he said.
“Do not drag yourself into argument with people that do not know what they are doing, talking about trivialities, ethnicity religiosity and regionalism.
“Nigeria is one single and indivisible nation. We must continue to make sure that we do whatever it takes to keep us strong and united country,” Mu’azu added.
The National Chairman said that PDP under his leadership would deepen the tenets of true democracy at all levels of government in the country.
