Delta Queens FC, Sunday, emerged champions of the Nigeria Women’s Professional Football League.
The game which was played at Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba, Delta Queens came from behind to deny Bayelsa Queens their hopes of retaining the NWFL Super 6 title.
The winner of the competition earned a whopping sum of Ten Million Naira and a ticket to the CAF Champions League.
Runners up, Five Million Naira and third place went home with Three Million Naira.
