Delta police arrest 2 female kidnappers, 15 others

Delta state Police Command has arrested 15 kidnappers, including two females and armed robbers suspected to have been terrorising Warri and Eff urun environs. Th e state Commissioner of police Mr. Zanna Ibrahim, who stated this in Asaba, at the command headquarters, added that one Tessy Sakpara was kidnapped by fi ve armed men on Udu road, Ovwian-Aladja, and robbed her of Samsung smart phone and other valuables. According to him, “on 12/07/201, at about 1000hrs, the two female suspects, Ejemi Eunice and Ejoke Sunday, were arrested by SAKCCS Operatives at Warri, wherein the victim’s phone was recovered from them and they have made useful statements.

” Police boss noted that the armed bandits who were arrested separately have been raking havoc in warri and Eff urun axis. Ibrahim also said one Silas Oghenerume was driving his boss’ wife, one Mrs. Rose Egokawhere to church when three boys armed with pump action and AK47 rifl es suddenly attacked them along Basketball Court road, near water resources, Warri in their black Honda civic car. He, however, said they pushed him (driver) out of the vehicle at gun point and kidnapped Mrs. Rose Egokawhere to unknown destination. He said Braimoh Innocent also confessed playing diff erent roles in the crime saying that investigation is ongoing for possible arrest of their current gang leaders one Omovigho Boblin, David (surname unknown) and Henry Ohwojero now at large.
