Dekina/Bassa 2019: APC Reps aspirant, Akale steps down for Baiwa

A House of Representatives aspirant from Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) James Akale has withdrawn from the race ahead of the party primaries.
Akale who disclosed this while addressing newsmen in Lokoja yesterday, said his regard for the leadership of the party informed his decision to step down his ambition for Hon.
Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa.
The former aspirant revealed that his decision to sacrifice his ambition came after wide consultations and the need to work towards the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 elections.
Akale implored his supporters to understand that party interest must over ride personal ambition, hence, the decision to tow the path of loyalty and sacrifice.
He called on his supporters to vote en-masse for Hon.
Hassan Baiwa in 2019, stressing that doing so will increase their chances of benefiting and enjoying the dividends of democracy at the State and Federal level.
Akale used the medium to express his appreciation to the APC National Women Leader, Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Edward Onoja, the APC State Party Chairman, Alh.
Abdullahi Bello, the Zonal Party Chairman, Hon.
Ahmed Attah, the Administrator, Bassa local government, Hon.
Samuel Alumka and his campaign team and loyal supporters.
