Dauda lauds FG’s efforts over Zamfara security challenges 

 

Zamfara governor, Dauda Lawal, has lauded the efforts of federal government in tackling insecurity in the state.

Governor Dauda made the commendation, Friday, at the formal commissioning of Birnin Magaji Central Mosque built by Hon. Aminu Sanin Jaji in Birnin Magaji, headquarters of Birnin Magaji local government area of the state.

The governor called on the National Assembly to intervene and bring sanity to bear in the state.

“I want to seek for urgent intervention by the National Assembly on the lingering insecurity affecting my state,” Governor Dauda said.

He commended Hon. Aminu Sanin Jaji for the constructing a befitting central mosque in his home town, describing the effort as commendable, as it would help in the propagation of Islamic knowledge in the area.

He called on other lawmakers to emulate him in that direction.

Speaking earlier, Hon. Aminu Sanin Jaji, representing Birnin Magaji/ Kaura Namoda federal constituency, expressed delight in contributing to Islamic knowledge and propagation.

He assured on more developmental projects in the areas of healthcare, water supply, education among others for his constituents.
