Dangote sponsors 15th Niger Trade Fair

Africa’s industrial giant, Dangote Group, is sponsoring the ongoing Trade Fair organized by the Niger Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NCCIMA). Th e 15TH Trade Fair holding in Niger state Capital, Minna, has as its theme: ‘Patronizing Made in Nigeria Goods.’ It opened on May 23, 2017 and is billed to end on Saturday June 3, 2017. Dangote Group is also investing $450 million in the agricultural sector of Niger State.

Th e Group has been sponsoring Trade Fairs in the country in its determination to encourage investments in Nigeria and bolsters the economy. Th e Director General of NCCIMA, Adamu Salihu said the partnership between the Dangote Group and his chamber is robust as Dangote Group is the biggest promoter of Made in Nigeria goods which is the theme of the 2017 Trade Fair. “As an excellent stakeholder and market leader, the participation of Dangote is highly commendable,” he said. He said the theme of the fair was chosen to encourage the use of local products, technology and services so as to generate employment, create wealth for Nigerians and improve IGR for all tiers of government.

A statement from the Corporate Communication unit of the Dangote Group said the Trade Fair off ers the Dangote Group an opportunity to display its numerous innovative products which include the recently introduced Dan-Q Seasoning, sachet sugar, salt, tomato paste and noodles, among others. It said the participation of the Group was part of the strategic move to grow market share and expand customer reach. Th e Dangote Group’s Special Day holds today
