The inclusion of Barrister Solomon Dalung in the ministerial nominees unveiled by the Senate in the 21 names send to the senate by the President Muhammadu Buhari for confirmation is in the right direction and so far, the best to happen in the political history of the country.
One can say that it is a political reward. Notwithstanding the fact, that it is a political reward, but it can implicitly be described, that it is one of the best choice made by Buhari, for a desired change.
Dalung has been at the vanguard of social equality, anti-corruption crusade, who at every fora advocated stiffer sanction against corrupt officials in government. A lot of people President Buhari left no one in doubt that he is bent in effecting a change in the life of this great country with his nomination of people like the erudite lawyer, who has been championing the cause of the common man.
Dalung is an embodiment of honesty and commitment. Therefore, no one should be doubt as to him making a great difference in wherever he may be posted at the discretion of President Buhari.
The appointment of the erudite lawyer was the done in order to injectcapable and young men in the efforts of Buhari to make great change in the running of Nigeria. This is of one the rare gems that are needed to turn around things for the betterment of the larger members of the society.
He proved to be an elder statesman despite his young age. And that was why a lot of people graciously admire him for having the courage to withstand a lot of things.
President Buhari by his nomination of Barrister Solomon Dalung and his likes, has proved that he want make the country great and at the same time restore the nation’s lost glory in the eyes of the entire world.
We should energise the selfless service being done by the President in trying to place the name of the country among the comity of the super powers of the world.
