Corps members serving Rivers state have been urged to remain resourceful in order to positively impact lives in their areas of primary assignments.
Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro local government council, Warisenibo Maclean Bethel Uranta, made the call in Opobo Town while receiving two sets of three-in-one computer printers donated by Mr. Emmanuel Maduako, a batch ‘B’ 2013 corps member serving in the Comprehensive Secondary School, Opobo Town.
Uranta thanked Maduako for the gift and urged the authorities of the benefitting schools to make judicious use of the printers.
He commended the corps members for their immense contributions towards the development of the area, warning them not to engage in swimming in the rivers and creeks.

He said the Council was doing its best in the provision of maximum security, and called on residents to report suspicious activities to the relevant authorities. He promised to support Maduako with the sum of N150, 000.
Responding, Maduako said his decision to embark on the project was to address challenges faced by schools in the area of photocopying of materials and thanked the chairman for his assistance.

Receiving the printers on behalf of the school, Mr. Fubara Miebaka Evans, expressed gratitude to Mr. Maduako for the gift and promised to use the printers for the benefit of the school.
