Concorde Model Schools will resume Jan. 14 – Principal

The principal of Concorde Model Schools, winners of the maiden Seplat Energy/NNPC Imo Secondary Schools Quiz Competition, Prince Harrison Ugochukwu Egenokwu, has disclosed that they would resume for the next academic session on January 14, 2025.

He made the disclosure to Blueprint on Friday in Owerri, giving the assurance that he would continue to consolidate on the good and solid foundation laid by the founder and apply world’s best practices to make the school greater and popular nationally and internationally.

Prince Egenokwu, who has been in the saddle barely one year as principal, said he met the school when it was being operated as a junior secondary school “but today, the school has been upgraded to senior secondary, sitting for both WAEC and NECO examinations.”

He said, “It now has  crèche and primary school sections, with a larger number and just last month, led the school to become the best secondary school in Imo state via the maiden edition of  Seplat Energy/NNPC Quiz Competition, promising to retain the coveted prize in the coming year.

“In a couple of years,  the school will be known in sciences, skills acquisition to model or add special skills to pupils by adopting entrepreneurship  to enable them become self-reliant and make money for themselves. We plan to organize our first ever inter-house sports competition to fish out young talents for future sports engagements.

“In fact, I would want the school to be seen and heard in the world. We already have a website where you can log in from any part of the world and get any information you need about the school.”
