Commission lauds FRSC on building model

The Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) has lauded the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) over the quality of job done in building its ultra modern office complex in Akwa Ibom state.

FRC charged other government agencies across the country to emulate the quality of job done by the agency.

Director, Monitoring and Evaluation of FRC, Mr Ola Tijani, said this while speaking to reporters after the inspection of the FRSC office complex inaugurated Monday.

Tijani stated that the commission in the presidency was saddled with the responsibility to ensure that all federal government projects were executed with high quality standard.

He said the FRSC office complex inaugurated has met the criteria of quality standard and completed within record time of six months.

“We are out to inspect selected federal government projects, of which this project is one.

“The idea of us coming out to look at projects is to first make sure that the projects are in place, and that the project execution is done properly and that the projects were properly funded.

“All these three criteria, I just mention have actually confirmed that these project has met all the three criteria. It has been well executed.

“These, I think, will be a model for project execution, as we go around, because the benefits of the project is  seen immediately and the execution in terms of time and cost are all  perfect,” Tijani said.
