Come closer to God, cleric charges Christians

The pastor in charge of Christ Deliverance Covenant Church (CDCC), World Wide, Dagiri, Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT,  E.A Olorundare has charged Christians to get closer to God.

He made the charge  during his sermons Sunday , in the church service in Gwagwalada, Abuja.

He said Christian faithful should break negative barriers such as; tribalism, favoritism and injustice and see one another as one in Christ. He regretted that most people only favour those from whom they can receive benefits  and give justice to some undeserved ones.

He reminded the congregation that everyone is made equal in the sight of God.

The cleric stated that God created each individual in His image and likeness and He expects us to work together in unity irrespective of our tribes and religions. This can only be achieved when selfishness is put aside,” he said.

Pastor Olorundare invited all to learn from Jesus and follow in His ways, and prayed God to send His spirit into the hearts and minds of His children.

While dedicating three new born baby to God, Pastor Olorundare stated  that, “Today, I have dedicated you the new born babies to God with gratitude and I also pray that God will extend His kindness and mercy to other pregnant mothers and in particular, those looking for the fruits of the womb.

He continued , “I have witnessed what mothers go through at child birth and it is to the glory of God that these babies were delivered safe and sound.”

He urged Christians to be their brother’s keeper by helping one another, charging them to shun discrimination as children of God.

He also called on Christians to forget their differences and work collectively for the growth of the church.
