Members and family of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Monday, marked and celebrated the 60th year of life and legacy of their General Overseer and founder, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua in Lagos.
It was singing, dancing and praises galore on Monday, June12, as SCOAN held the 60th posthumous birthday of its founder, Prophet Temitope B. Joshua.
Indeed, the Arena of Liberty Ikotun, Almosho, Lagos location of the church was, expectedly, filled with the church’s faithful from all walks of life.
Many people from across the world, including Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, America and Europe, came to celebrate the occasion, which also marked the second anniversary of the death of the televangelist.
Recall that TB Joshua died in his Ikotun, Alimosho, Lagos sprawling church on June 5th, 2021 at the age of 58.
Following the death of Joshua, the church has since appointed his wife, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, as its Senior Pastor.
Over the past two years, Pastor Evelyn Joshua has lived up to the expectation of the church through her strong commitment and organisational ability by maintaining the tempo of ministration left behind by her late husband
It was learnt that Evelyn has since been refocusing the church in sync with the vision of her late husband.
According to observers of the goings on in the church, activities in the church are on the upward swing and are usually well conducted to the delight of the old and new members.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua was said to have recently returned from a successful trip to Europe on ministration duties.
Amidst singing, dancing and praises, were also testimonies given by those who had at various times, received healings and support from the church similar to the days of Pastor TB Joshua.
Speaking at the occasion, Evelyn Joshua, while appreciating all for coming and honouring her late husband in many ways, promised to continue to make the church wax stronger with the Lord’s guidance.
