Christmas: Give to helpless, vulnerable persons, Soludo tells Anambra residents

Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Monday, urged the residents to spread the joy of Christmas and New Year festivities by extending gifts to the helpless and vulnerable persons.

Soludo, who stated this in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, argued that people from all the nooks and crannies of the State need to feel along without being left out of celebration this season.

He also urged the citizenry to allow what he described as warmth of this season reignite the spark of hope among them.

“Let us extend a hand of kindness to our neighbours, for in unity and compassion lies our strength. Let us spread the joy of Christmas to every corner of our state, ensuring that no one feels alone or left out of celebration.

“Let us open our hearts to the less fortunate, the lonely, and the vulnerable. Let us remember the true spirit of Christmas – the spirit of giving, forgiveness, and selfless service.

“As your Governor, I pledge to continue working tirelessly to build the Anambra of our dreams – a state where every citizen thrives in a secure and prosperous environment, and where the light of opportunity shines brightly for all,” he added.
