Centre honours outgoing UniAbuja VC Na’Allah on leadership  

El-mavericky Centre for Educational Research and Development (EMCERD) has applauded the leadership qualities of the outgoing Vice Chancellor of University of Abuja, Professor Adul-Rasheed Na’allah, credited for transforming the institution.

Sulayman Nafiu, executive director of EMCERD applauded Professor Na’Allah at a public lecture in honour of the outgoing VC held at the Faculty of Law, new lecture theatre of the university on Monday.

Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN, delivered the lecture entitled, “A March to the Future: Addressing Issues in University Administration in Post-Subsidy Nigeria.”

Blueprint learnt that Prof Adul-Rasheed Na’allah’s tenure is expected to end on June 30, 2024; hence the public lecture held in his honour by EMCERD of the university.

In an interview with newsmen, EMCERD’s Sulayman Nafiu said, “Professor Adul-Rasheed Na’Allah made us proud with the developmental strides achieved in the university during his tenure as vice chancellor. As we all know, he has served his tenure and during his time he changed the system in terms of infrastructure, human development and remuneration of staff and students. He impacted the lives of everybody.”

Professor Na’Allah in his response thanked the university community, especially EMCERD, for giving him the honour which according to him would spur him to do more in his future endeavours.
