CDWR demands release of Adaramoye, Oluajo, others 

The Campaign for Democratic and Workers’ Rights (CDWR) Tuesday demanded the release of those allegedly arrested over the #EndBadGovernance nationwide protests CDWR in a statement by its national publicity secretary, Comrade Bosah Chinedu, listed those allegedly arrested over the protest to include Michael Adaramoye (aka Lenin), Babatunde Oluajo (aka Sankara) and all other protesters allegedly abducted, arrested and detained across the country.

The Campaign for Democratic and Workers’ Rights, said

the right to freedom of assembly, freedom of speech and freedom of movement including the right to protest has come under renewed attack and suppression in Nigeria.

The body alleged that all these have culminated in a civilian dictatorship just like during military regimes.

“CDWR is demanding the immediate release of Michael Adaramoye aka Lenin, Babatunde Oluajo aka Sankara and all other protesters abducted, arrested and detained across the country”, it said.

On President Bola Tinubu nationwide broadcast, CDWR kicked against the broadcast, saying, the president did not address the demands of Nigerians put forward by the protesters.
