Candido has delivered dividends of democracy to AMAC- Group 

 

A report conducted by the civil society groups for good governance (CSGGG) has given kudos to the current administration at the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) led by Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido.

At a press conference in Abuja, the coordinator of the groups, Mr Edwin Olorunfemi said it conducted an independent assessment of projects under the leadership of Candido and expressed satisfaction on the numerous projects cited within four years in AMAC.

Olorunfemi stated that the press briefing was “to counter the recent malicious, unscrupulous and unsubstantiated allegations of incompetence and non-performance by some faceless and baseless group masquerading as civil society members against the leadership of Abuja Municipal Area Council in the person of Hon. Abdullahi Adamu.”

According to Olorunfemi, “Candido, in his four years of leadership, has fought tooth and nail to ensure he executes effectively and efficiently the core mandate and trust reposed on him by the people.”

He further said, “We condemn in all entirety, the plot by these miscreants and henceforth advise them to desist from further actions as we the Fifth realm of the estate will ensure that we bridge the existing lacuna between AMAC and the Media for efficient dissemination of information.”

The group said the achievements of the AMAC chairman were too numerous to mention and cuts across the sectors of education and social social development, empowerment and job creation, security and ecological projects, all spersed in the various towns and communities within the area council.
