Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has officially launched the ‘Burna Boy Football Academy’ in Lagos.
The initiative is aimed at nurturing the next generation of African football talent by providing a structured training programme for young athletes.
The academy offers training sessions three days a week, with each session lasting two hours.
It is designed to cater two distinct age groups: junior boys aged 4–15 and senior boys aged 16–21.
To ensure broad accessibility, training locations have been established in Ikoyi, Surulere, Port Harcourt, and Abuja, allowing aspiring footballers from various regions to participate, Blueprint learnt.
