Bunza Micro-finance Bank ready for take-off

The Bunza ocal government council in Kebbi State has concluded arrangements for official take off up it micro finance bank for the benefit of the teeming populace in the area.
Council Chairman Alhaji Aliyu Umar Raha made this known yesterday, when members of the press paid a working visit to the area, said all necessary arrangements were put in place for the successfully take up.
According to him the the finance house has met all the requirements and laid down rules and regulations of the Central Bank, as a result he said, “The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has committed N100 million, kebbi state N40 million while the local government injected N20 million for a hitch free take up.
He added that the gesture would assist the people in the area especially the farming families as well as the small scale traders whom willl be empowered through obtaining soft landing loans to improve their businesses.
Similarly, Raha explained that in an efforts to improve it locally generated revenue and to promote toursm,  the council had resolved to revive and modernized the annual fishing and cultural fishing festival along the famous river rima.
Thou, he said the council could be able to host the annual event to such standard without the barking of the state government, Honestly, we can not do it alone, we have to solicit the assistance of the state government”
He thanked the Governor for the construction of 103 klilometer Bunza-Nastini road and 21kilometer township road in Bunza, adding that various town and villages were equally supplyied potable drinking water and connected with national grid as well.
