Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the employment of 375 health personnel to man the newly established Maternal and Childcare complex in the state.
Yobe state Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Garba Bilal, made this known Wednesday while briefing journalists on the recently approved appointees currently undergoing bio metric exercise at the state Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning to be enrolled in to the state pay system.
He stated that the Chief Medical Director of Yobe State University Teaching Hospital, Dr Baba Gana Waru Goni would receive an approval letter to advertise for some of the positions process for employing the categories of workers.
Garba Bilal described the appointment into the civil service as a great achievement as it will enhance the government’s plan for citizens to benefit from the dividends of democracy in the state.
“This employment that Governor Mai Mala Buni has started will go a long way in serving as a booster for those that would come on board in to the civil service,” he said.
