Buni commissions housing, road projects constructed by Zulum in Maiduguri  

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state Wednesday   commissioned two newly constructed housing projects and  two road project in Maiduguri by Governor Zulum’s administration.

He also commissioned 500 houses comprising 100 units of  one bedroom apartments  and 400 units of  two bedroom apartments  housing estate located along the Kano Road  in Maiduguri and high rise storey building  comprising of 6 blocks of 6 flats of three bedrooms totaling 72 units of housing estate located beside Mero Divisional Police Headquarters along Old Kano Road, Maiduguri.

Governor Bunu alao commissioned the second fly over bridge constructed by Governor Zulum’s administration located near Borno Express Terminus Motor Park along Old Kano Road, Maiduguri, and the  dualisation of Shehu Garbai Street from Dandal Shehus palace to Galadima junction  Custom Highway.

Governor Bunu expressed appreciation for the honour done to him and opportunity given to him to commission such gigantic projects executed for the benefit of the people of Maiduguri city and it’s envious while commending Governor Zulum for successfully constructing such projects in the overall interest and use of the people.

He urged the beneficiaries to make proper and good use of the infrastructural facilities which have not only beautify the city but improve on the destroyed basic infrastructure by the recent flood disaster sequel to the insurgency.

Buni further thanked Governor  Zulum for naming the 500 housing estate after his name as ,” Governor Mai Mala Buni Housing Estate” while urging the citizens to continue to pray for the two states about their leaders as well as peace abd development to recover from the devastating  insurgency and  flood disaster.
