Former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has congratulated his son, Seni on winning at the 67th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles, United States on Sunday, February 2.
Seni clinched his first Grammy for his contribution to the ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ soundtrack, which won in the ‘Best Reggae Album’ category.
Taking to Facebook, Saraki said, “Congratulations, Seni, on winning your first Grammy last night for your work on the ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ soundtrack, which took home the award for Best Reggae Album!
“Seeing you pour your heart into your passion and having it recognized on the global stage is an indescribable joy.
“Well done! We are super proud of you!”
The UK-trained Seni is a co-founder of The Native, a Lagos-based Nigerian music magazine.
He was a consultant for the collaborative project ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack, which gained four Grammy nominations in 2023.
