They have heard from him and so they should wait

He explained that “the character of Mr President is one that is unequalled in terms of sincerity and commitment to serve Nigeria.

“Why would the President want to go beyond the second term freely given to him by God and Nigerians? It is not in the character of the President to be that desperate for power. Buhari would not want Nigeria to collapse because of his actions. Those who lay such claims are detractors who are causing unnecessary tensions in the system.”

Describing President Buhari as the father of the nation the APC chieftain called on all Nigerians to supportive of the current administration and embrace the message of hope of Mr president that indeed we are all in for better days ahead in 2020.

The chief also enumerated various achievements of Mr president and stated that the fight against corruption and insecurity, Economic reengineering , job creation , power generation, improvement of infrastructural development and national cohesion among others top the achievements of mr president.

He further called on the South East Youths and all Igbos to see the policies of mr president as those that mean well for all Nigerians and support them irrespective of political party affiliations.

Decrying the state of decay in Abia state, the APC chieftain expressed disbelief that despite the huge resources the state generate internally and those that come through the federation account, the governor of the state Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has not been able to justify it.

“The poverty level in Abia state is increasing daily while basic infrastructures are as good as dead.”

Chief Anyanwu further advised Abians to be mindful of political pocket politicians on a singular mission to enrich themselves and associates rather than fulfilling campaign promises.
