Buhari’s govt ‘ll deliver uninterrupted power – Minister

The Minister of Power, Engr. Saleh Mamman, has said the Muhammadu Buhari next level administration will deliver uninterrupted power supply to Nigerians before the end of its tenure.

The Minister of Power was in Kaduna with the Minister of State for Power, Mr. Goddy Jeddy Agba, on a two-day working visit to Kaduna state and tour of power facilities.

Speaking after inspecting 330KV transmission station in Mando and Kaduna power plant in Kudenda, the Minister assured that the ministry would ensure that all ongoing power projects in the country are completed and power is delivered to the people of Nigeria.

He however charged the distribution companies on their preparedness to utilise the power to be generated from the Kudenda Station which is almost 86% completed.

Responding, the Managing Director of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, Engr. Garba Haruna, who was represented by the Chief Driving Officer of the Company, Mr. Raul Kumar, reiterated the commitment of his company to evacuate and deliver to its customers all power to be generated from the Kaduna power plant.
