President of the Ninth Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan, says former President Muhammadu Buhari, prioritised Nigeria’s unity and progress while in office between 2015 and 2023.
Senator Lawan made this known in a message he personally signed to celebrate the 82nd birthday anniversary of the former Nigerian leader.
The birthday message reads, “I extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as he celebrates his 82nd birthday.
“Your Excellency, your life has been one of patriotism, exemplary leadership, and selfless service to our nation. Under your able leadership, Nigeria made significant strides in various sectors, including infrastructure development, anti-corruption, and security.
“You have always prioritised the unity and progress of Nigeria, and placed the interest of the nation above all else by consistently working towards building a more prosperous and just society.
