Founder of Daurama Foundation, Dr. Samira Buhari was on Monday awarded the Sir Obafemi Awolowo Platinum Leadership Award for philanthropy for her outstanding performance and selfless service to humanity.
Dr. Buhari was selected for the award after due consideration of her sustained commitment to social development and empowerment of women and young people across Nigeria by the Coalition of Progressive Nigerian Youth Groups.
The award presentation which was held in Abuja was graced by distinguished members of the coalition, supporters, and notable figures to celebrate the Daurama Foundation Chief Executive, Dr. Buhari’s impactful initiatives channelled at providing educational support, mentorship, and economic opportunities that foster sustainable development across Nigeria’s underserved communities.
