Buhari condoles with Goje over wife

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with Sen. Danjuma Goje over the passing on of his wife, Hajiya Fatima Yelwa Goje.
In a letter of condolence to the former Gombe state governor, delivered by the federal government delegation led by the Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu at the funeral ceremony, the President described Hajiya Yelwa as “a kind and caring mother.”
“Further to our telephone conversation, I convey my deepest condolences to you for the loss of your dear wife, Hajiya Yelwa. The loss of a spouse is one of the cruelest blows of our lives. However,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala gives life and takes it away when He wills,” presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, quoted the President as saying.
The federal government’s delegation was made up of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Musa Bello; Minister of State for Power, Works and Housing, Sulaiman Hassan; Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Domestic Affairs, Sarki Abba; and the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmad Idris.
