Governor Siminalay Fubara of Rivers State was on Wednesday denied access to the State House of Assembly quarters, where lawmakers currently hold plenary sessions.
The complex gate was locked by the security personnel the moment Fubara and his convoy arrived at the premises.
It was gathered that the security acted based on a lack of communication between the Assembly and the governor.
Addressing the issue, Fubara stated that he informed Speaker Martins Amaewhule through a letter that he was coming.
Fubara added that he had been trying to reach Amaewhule on the phone since Tuesday.
