Breaking: Woman emerges first ever President of any NPFL Club side

Amidst controversies plaguing the Nigeria Professional Football Club (NPFL) in recent times, one treasured incident has eventually reared up.

The latest is that first ever woman has just been appointed as the President of a club plying their trade in the current NPFL season.

She is Charity Obuah who was named the President of @GoRoundFC Omoku.

Incidentally, Go Round football club, a private team with their base in River state, on Wednesday meted out a shocking 2-1 defeat on host, Abia Warriors in Umuahia.

Go Round two years ago, took the bull by the horn and gained entrance into the country’s top flight level.

Since then, they have remained a force to be reckoned with the owner, Felix Obuah who doubles as the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) using the club to set the pace in football administration.
