As the Senate begins screening of 19 fresh ministerial nominees forwarded to it on Wednesday by President Bola Tinubu for confirmation, the President has dropped nomination of one.
The dropped nominee as stated in a letter forwarded to the Senate and read by Senator Godswill Akpabio, is Dr Maryam Shetty from Kano state.
The President however, in the letter, replaced Shetty with Dr Mariga Mahmud and also nominated Festus Keyamo from Delta state for consideration and confirmation.
