Ebonyi state Police command, Monday, confirmed the kidnap of two Chinese Nationals in the state.
The kidnapped victims whose names were given as Shen Gusmeh and Mao Xinmin were at site of Green filed Nigeria Limited located at Ihetutu, Ishiagu in Ivo local government area of Ebonyi state.
They were reportedly kidnapped on Sunday by 11:40am despite the total lockdown in Ebonyi state.
Confirming the incident, the police spokesperson, DSP Loveth Odah, said the police was investigating the matter.
She said, “Yes something like that happened. The police is investigating it. And our team has been mobilised to the area with the view to hunt down the kidnappers and rescue the victims unhurt.”
However, a source told Blueprint that three of the Chinese Expatriates were initially kidnapped but one of them was later released by the abductors.
