Breaking: Sagamu boils as many stage protest over death of Nigerian footballer, another killed again

An ongoing protest is currently happening in Sagamu, a town in Ogun state after sudden death of a footballer Tiyamiyu Kazeem who played for former Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Remo stars.

The protesters, who took to the streets also stormed the Palace of the Akarigbo and the Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, demanding justice for the deceased.

One of the protesters (names witheld) has been killed at the protest.

The footballer was allegedly killed by a SARS operative attached to Sagamu.

However, the Ogun state Police command has denied the allegation.
