The Appeal Court sitting in Enugu has declared Honourable Obinna Chidoka as the duly elected House of Representatives member representing Idemili North and Idemili South federal constituency.
The court sacked All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)’s candidate Ibezi Ifeanyichukwu, who was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the February 23 National Assembly election in the state.
In its ruling, the court ordered INEC to issue a Certificate of Return to Chidoka of PDP, and withdraw that of the APGA candidate.
