There is wild jubilation amidst pageantry in Yenagoa following Supreme Court verdict which declared Diri Douye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of 2019 governorship election.
The celebration is more intense inside the government house where Governor Seriake Dickson is still holding sway.
Diri is the currently the senator representing Bayelsa Central senatorial district in the upper legislative Chambers.
The Supreme Court verdict was anchored on the controversial certificate issues surrounding the deputy governor-elect Degi-Eremienyo.
Meanwhile, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara has congratulated Senator Diri Douye over the Apex Court verdict which declared him the Bayelsa state governor-elect.
