The Organised Labour – Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) has suspended the nationwide strike for five days to allow proper negotiation with the tripartite committee on the new national minimum wage.
A source within the leadership of NLC disclosed this to Blueprint in Abuja.
Recall that the Labour leaders had on Monday, June 3, 2024 embarked on a nationwide strike over minimum wage and increase in electricity tariff.
