A sport lottery organisation, the New Year Mega Lottery Limited (NYML), has launched eight different products for Nigerians to be made millionaires with just N200 and without much stress.
The lottery products include: State Mega Puzzle, Mega Japa, Monthly Draw, Campus Fare, Mega Draw, Back to School, Instant Scratch and Win and Pocket Moni.
During the unveiling of the products at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, Thursday, the CEO of (NYML) Limited, Mr Sunday Adeleye, said the decision to peg the cost of the lottery at N200 is for anyone above 18 years to participate, irrespective of class, status, gender and other social factors.
He said: “We have the vision to make 50 millionaires every 31st December, starting from one million naira, while 50 million naira is the jackpot in the Mega Draw. With just one ticket, you can play 11 draws. We reasoned that the more success stories we have, the more we will be in the market. If people don’t win, who will come to us?
“Therefore, we have products such as State Mega Puzzle, Mega Japa, Monthly Draw, Campus Fare, Mega Draw, Back to School, Instant Scratch and Win and
Pocket Moni. It is for parents, students, workers and all categories of people to select which one they want and play. Whether physical card or online, we have all Nigerians covered.
“As Nigerians, we like to travel or Japa, that’s why we have Mega Japa. As students who often need urgent 2k, we have Pocket Moni, Campus Fare and Back to School. So, there is something for everyone. We are not leaving anyone behind. We have made the ticket available and affordable for everyone. Anyone who wins N500,000 and above will come to our office to collect the prize.”
Talking more about the products, the Head of IT, Mr Menutaife Kennedy, said the organisation is security conscious, especially with regards to the protection of the information of Nigerians participating in the lottery.
“We are security conscious. You don’t have to worry about the data of users. Our system has been vetted by regulatory bodies and industry players. Also, we try to regularly upgrade our system and reassess our security model to ensure users are secured,” he said.
