Breaking: Kidnapped Zamfara University students regain freedom

Up to 14 abducted students of the Federal University of Gusau, Zamfara State have gained their freedom from their abductors.

Unknown gunmen had invaded on Friday invaded their apartment where the female students after were kidnapped.

A statement by the university’s management said, “Students and staff are enjoined to remain calm and go about their normal activities while the security agencies are doing their best to rescue the remaining students and other individuals that are still in captivity.

“Fourteen students and two workers have been freed.”

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had ordered security agencies to ensure the remaining abducted students were rescued.

They were reportedly engaged in a gun battle by troops on their way but still managed to make away with the abducted students.
