Breaking: DSS invade SERAP office in surprise crackdown

The Nigeria’s Department of State Service (DSS) operatives have reportedly invaded the office of Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) in Abuja.

This was disclosed by SERAP via its X handle on social media on Monday.

SERAP official revealed that the DSS operatives demanded to see their directors.

SERAP, a leading advocacy group, has been critical of government policies and human rights abuses.

The raid on SERAP office took place same day DSS picked President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
