Breaking – Coronavirus: Obaseki imposes curfew in Edo

The Edo state government has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew in the state in order to ensure strict compliance with measures to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

Governor Godwin Obaseki who disclosed this via his verified twitter handle said, “I have imposed a daily curfew from 7pm to 6am effective from April 20, 2020.

“Security agencies are mandated to enforce full compliance with this curfew,” he said.

According to update from the National Center for Disease and Control (NCDC), Edo State has recorded 15 COVID-19 cases with one death, while five patients have been discharged.
