Boko Haram terrorists have attacked Bamzir village, under Whuntaku District, in Chibok, Borno State, killing two brothers, Josiah Pogu Pudza, a secondary school student, and Enoch Pogu Pudza.
According to a statement by the media team of the local government chairman of Chibok LGA Mustapha Madu, the incident happened on Sunday, January 12th.
The attackers burned down several houses, shops, and the EYN LCC church and stole food and livestock.
Another resident, Esther Yohanna, was injured by gunfire.
The victims were buried Sunday morning, with the local government chairman present.
He visited the affected areas, met the victims’ families, and assessed the damage.
