Boko Haram: Atiku condoles with Konduga massacre victims

A former Vice President and chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar, has condoled with the victims of Boko Haram suicide attack in Meshimari village of Borno state.

A statement issued by Atiku Media Office yesterday in Abuja expressed sadness over the suicide bombing activities, even as he commended the Nigerian military for securing the country.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I find myself having to offer my condolences to the families of the victims of the suicide bombing in Meshimari village in Konduga local government of Borno state. May Almighty Allah grant the victims al-jannah firdaus and give their survivors the fortitude to bear their loss.

“I commend the gallant men and women of the Nigerian military, who have been our line of defence against those who seek to violently impose their way of life on us. Finally, I call on all Nigerians to be prayerful and vigilant as our nation goes through these challenges.”
