Beyond Limits Sports Academy of Ogun State Thursday lifted the coveted Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
The Super 8 league leader, got 7 points from the Southern Side of the League to play the finals with Nassarawa United of the Northern Side.
Beyond Limits got their winning by wallopping Nassarawa by 4 – 3 in a penalty shootout after the full time ended in 2 – 2.
From the blast of the whistle, Beyond took complete dominance of the game by scoring first in the 31st minutes while Nassarawa equalised 35 minutes later.
Both teams levelled up at the 2nd half thereby culminating in the penalty shootout to determine the outright winner.
The deputy governor of Nassarawa State was on ground to see their team to victory but it was a pity that they could not take the coveted Cup even when they got 9 points during the League.
Both teams had qualified for the NPFL from the league results.
