Bello swears-in 14 commissioners today

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state will today swear-in 14 commissioners to form the fist members of his cabinet council under the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration of the state.

The governor, according to schedule, is expected to hold the event at about 2pm at Government House, Minna, in the presence of dignitaries from all parts of the state.
Blueprint learnt that 14 commissioners to be administered the oath of office were those confirmed out of 15 sent to the House of Assembly by the governor because one of them,  from Shiroro local government, was dropped by the lawmakers due to petitions against her.
Those that scaled the screening of the Assembly included the state publicity secretary of the APC, Jonathan Vatsa, Kabir Abbas Musa, Barrister Danmallam Nasara, Mamman Musa, Fatima Madugu, Dr. Mustapha Jibrin and Ramotu yar’adua, Ibrahim Balarabe, Idris Azozo, and others.
Speaking in telephone interview, Vatsa said the new commissioners would work together as a team to bring development to the state.

He assured that the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello administration would deliver good governance to the people and solicited for the support of the people in the successful implementation of government programmes aid at benefitting the communities.
He said the administration was poised to run transparent and accountable policies directed at bringing the desired change in all strata of the society to the benefit of the people.
