BCO begs Buhari to appoint Ali as Chief of Staff

The Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO) has called for the appointment of Senator Abba Ali, as the Chief of Staff (CoS) to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The BCO in a press statement, issued by its national coordinator, Alhaji Danladi Garba Pasali, Thursday said their support for Abba Ali, was bone out of his “sincerity, truthfulness and life experiences.”

A group of former legislators had recently endorsed Senator Ali as the right person to be appointed by the President.

President Muhammadu Buhari had in 2019 approved the appointment of Ali as the  Chairman African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).

BCO said: “Senator Abba Ali, being an intimate friend and one of the president’s class mate, in fact, chairman of the president’s forum of class mates, meaning that President Buhari, is very much aware of his sincerity, hence he deserved to be appointed into the position.”

He said Ali’s vast administrative and political strides are potential qualities that further makes him fit to hold the office.

“One other reason is that Senator Abba Ali’s, efforts as national patron of the BCO, whose political strides have been in support of President Buhari, since his surgion into politics”.
