The ruling All progressive congress (APC) has refused to make comment over the decision by the Supreme Court that revalidated the declaration of Diri Douye as the duly elected governor of Bayelsa state.
APC’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who had earlier billed to address a press conference on the issue suddenly called it off without offering explanation for the sudden change of mind.
The Journalists covering APC had received invitation message for a press conference at about 5pm Wednesday at the national secretariat of the party but after waiting for more than two and half hours, an official of the party who pleaded anonymity hinted that the party might issue a statement on the issue before later.
As at the time of filling this report, no statement was issued even as spokepersons for the party refused to comment.
