As a good governance advocate and an independent human rights activist, I write with dismay on the above caption on the recent trending topic of #APCRiceSaga which drew my attention to say what is in my mind, fearlessly.
Not long ago, the federal government had given Covid-19 palliatives for distribution to the masses, to ease the hardship occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic. But sadly, the government of Bauchi state diverted the palliatives for their selfish interest.
Nevertheless, as Bauchi state APC members have been criticising the said government for diverting the palliatives, alas, they are now doing the same shameless and merciless path of the Bauchi state government.
Both the Bauchi APC and the PDP are all merciless people; they don’t have their people’s interest at heart. You cannot single out any party and say that they are serving the interest of their own people, wholeheartedly.
Regarding the Bauchi state APC, as you are always rattling that you would take over power come 2023 from the PDP, you should go back and rethink by changing your negative attitudes towards ameliorating your state party members as well as motivating them.
Your negligence of your loyal party members is what always leads to party’s drawback.
This is based on your recent acts of diverting President Muhammadu Buhari’s Ramadan palliatives. It is evident that the palliatives were seen in different market shops in Bauchi, which means you sold the palliatives meant for the masses.
As you (APC) have been blabbering and rattling that the governor has divert Covid-19 meant for the masses, annoyingly, you are now doing the same thing.
Between the unfair distribution of Bauchi State APC recent palliatives and that of Governor Bala, I can say, that of Bala is less unfair than yours. This is because, some months back, you mocked him for diverting the palliatives and now you have done the same.
In view of the aforesaid, can you now tell us that you are more truthful than Governor Bala? We should not keep mute because we are supporting APC!
As Thurgood Marshall once said, “Where you see wrong or inequality or injustice, speak out, because this is your country. This is your democracy. Make it. Protect it. Pass it on.”
