The integrity and moral values of former President Mohammadu Buhari are inspiring the younger generations, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger state has said.
The governor stated this in a congratulatory message to the immediate past president of Nigeria, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari as he attains 82 years of age.
In the congratulatory message by his chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, farmer Governor Bago extoled the virtue of the former president, describing him as a selfless and patriotic personality.
He said, “The commitment, diligence and contributions of the celebrant to nation-building, during his active service as a military and democratic leader are acknowledged nationwide.”
Governor Bago also in the same release sent birthday felicitations to the former governor of Niger state, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello who clocks 57 years.
He said, “I extend my warmth felicitation to my predecessor and Senator representing Niger North senatorial district, Sen. Abubakar Sani Bello on his 57th birthday”.
He said, “The celebrant is an icon of humility, easy going and free-minded personality.”
He recounted the efforts of Sani Bello towards the growth and development of the state when he governed the state from 2015 to 2023.
