Former Governor of Sokoto state Attahiru Bafarawa’s exist from Peoples Democratic Pparty is a great lost to the party , Senior Special Assistant to the PDP national chairman on Media and Communications , Alhani Yusuf Dingyadi has said.
Dingyadi who stated this in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Sokoto, said it’s a painful development at this crucial moment when the party under Ambassador Iliyasu Damagu is making frantic effort to bring all party members under one roof
“The current leadership of Amb Iliya Damagum hatched new plans for seeking unity, cohesion and progress among party supporters across the country.
” The party leadership is in the process of reconciliation and forgiveness, anything taking these efforts back is not going to be good to our collective unity and development.
“Even though, he makes such a decision to leave our party without any offence or misunderstanding
“We will continue to pursue and seek his returns in order to boost our future success; because by and large parties are like barracks, anytime you see soldiers going, there are some soldiers coming,” the media aid stated
