Babaganaru leads Yobe Desert Stars

Former Kano Pillars coach Mohammed Baba Ganaru has been announced as new coach of newly promoted Yobe Desert Stars.
Yobe Desert Warriors chose the experienced Baba Ganaru ahead of other applicants ahead of the new Nigeria Professional Football League 2017/18 .
The coach promised a good showing by the club on the return to the top flight.
“It is a great feeling to be here, I have already map out plans for the team, we are starting as soon as possible, ” Baba Ganaru said.
“We will make the state proud and the players have promised their loyalty to the club.”
Yobe Desert Stars will feature in 2017/2018 Nigeria Professional Football League season after they finished behind Kwara United in the Northern Conference of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
