The National Association of South-South Students Assembly has appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan for the inclusion of former Chief Security Officer to late Head of State Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, to represent the course of the youth at the forthcoming Nation Conference.
A press release issued by its National President, Comrade Martins Abebe, said Al- Mustapha has been a vanguard of peace and runs a Non Governmental Organisation, adding that his core objective is centred around building the youths of the future.
The release also stated that Al-Mustapha has a “requisite competence to represent the youths at the forthcoming National conference because the entire gamut of the National Conference is predicated on peace and national unity”.
The association further applauded the President for his bold step and National conference initiative, adding that this critical idea shows a good administrative courage in piloting the affairs of the country.
