As Ramatu Aliyu wins African Woman in Leadership award…

The former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory Administration, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has won the African Woman in Leadership award for the year 2023/2024. The former minister emerged after a keenly contested electioneering exercise in which she defeated a host of many African women leaders in leadership positions all over the continent.

This award is annually given to deserving African women leaders who were outstanding in their leadership roles and contributing immensely to the development of the continent through their leadership. Many analyst are of the opinion that the recipient of the award for this year, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, is well deserving of the award which she got through many years of hard work and leadership traits that involve the vision, strategic thinking, and a clear, coherent planning in leadership and this is based on evidence and realism.

She is imbued with a lot of convincing oratorical capacity as a former pioneer woman leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), a position which her leadership helped in mobilising the citizenry to vote for former President Muhammadu Buhari.
